CFM-56 - Turbofan Family of Engines
Celerity Asset Management has a unique focus on the CFM56 family of engines, which power a large volume of narrowbody or single-aisle aircraft, in particular the acquisition of CFM56-5A series, CFM56-5B series and CFM56-7 series (we deal in other series on a selected basis). Targeting mid- to late-life engines, with few exceptions
CFM-56 - Family of Engines : Celerity Asset Management has a unique focus on the CFM56 family of engines which power a large volume of narrowbody or single-aisle aircraft. This family of high-bypass turbofan aircraft engines is made by CFM International (CFMI), a 50–50 joint-owned company of Safran Aircraft Engines of France and GE Aviation (GE) of the United States. The CFM56 is a high-bypass turbofan engine (most of the air accelerated by the fan bypasses the core of the engine and is exhausted out of the fan case) with several variants having bypass ratios ranging from 5:1 to 6:1, generating 18,500 to 34,000 lbf (80 kN to 150 kN) of thrust. The variants share a common design, but the details differ. The CFM56 is a two-shaft (or two-spool) engine, meaning there are two rotating shafts, one high-pressure and one low-pressure. Each is powered by its own turbine section (the high-pressure and low-pressure turbines, respectively). The fan and booster (low-pressure compressor) evolved over the different iterations of the engine, as did the compressor, combustor and turbine sections. The CFM56 variants include the; CFM56-2 series, CFM56-3 series, CFM56-4 series, CFM56-5 series, CFM56-5A series, CFM56-5B series, CFM56-5C series and CFM56-7 series.

Narrowbody Market- 737NG/ A320 CEO Market:
The Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320 families are considered the workhorses of the global
aviation sector. The Boeing 737 NG and the Airbus A320 CEO family both fly CFM-56 engines.
CFM-56 family is designed, developed, and produced by CFM International. The CFM 56-7B exclusively flies on the Boeing 737 NG (100% Market Share). While CFM-56 5 Series (5A and 5B) have a 60/40 split on the A320 Family of aircraft with the V2500 manufactured by International Aero Engines (IAE). With the CFM-56 family of engines having an overall narrowbody market share of 60% delivery over 25575 engines.
Narrowbody Market- 737MAX/A320CEO Market:
The A320neo, which replaces the A320ceo brings two advanced engine choices – Pratt & Whitney's Pure Power PW1100G-JM geared turbofan, and CFM International's LEAP-1A. While The 737 MAX is a fourth-generation Boeing 737, re-engine with CFM LEAP-1B turbofans.
